"Enjoyed our stay! The staff were very accommodating and the thermal pool has the best view in Gastein. Our room was in the historic portion of the hotel. When we opened the windows for cool mountain air, we could also hear the waterfall. Very relaxing! "

The breakfast was mediocre for a hotel in this price range. "The hotel stay was excellent, my whole family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) loved this hotel. We booked a studio room (double bed and a bunk bed). Room was very clean with a small kitchen area, dining table and a sofa. It is close to ski station and many eateries within walking distance. The reception area at level 4 was superb! You can just sit and relax at the lounge area there, relaxing and enjoyjng the beautiful mountain scenery. Our boys loved to play chess at the lounge area. There is on-site parking, laundry facility and vending machines selling drinks and snacks. The reception staffs were all very courteous and approachable. Highly recommended!"

"The apartment was nice with beautiful view. Kitchen was without toaster no ”fairy” and only one tablet for dishwasher. Lack of space to put down your stuff in bathroom. It was my husbands 70th birthday and I asked if I could order something but they said the hotel will bring something which never happened. A chaningroom in spa area would be nice "
